Wife of the governor of Anambra State, Mrs. Nonye Soludo has extolled motherhood, describing it as a divine responsibility that is unquantifiable.
She stated this in a press release she signed in celebration of this year’s mothers’ Day.
She said: “Motherhood is one divine responsibility that has no material quantification. Being a mother is a rare blessing; a gift that should never ever be taken for granted.
“Motherhood is God’s call to serve a scared purpose. It’s an assignment beyond the home. It’s a duty of passion and grace.
“For your sacrifices, extraordinary courage, resilience, and eternal closure, the world celebrates you today and beyond. No gift, treasure, and love should ever be enough for the price of motherhood. Celebrate that mother in your life today and every other day.
“Remember that the best gift you can give to her is love, presence, and prayers. Happy Mothers’ Sunday to every hard-working and compassionate mother in Anambra State and elsewhere. Take your flowers. You’re the saints we see.”
