Obi donates over N150m to kinsmen in Anambra

The former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi, has donated over 150 million naira to his Agulu community, in Anaocha local government area of Anambra state

The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party during the last general election, visited his kinsmen at the weekend, in what they described as remarkable gesture.

The donated sum of 50 million was to improve the Agulu Micro finance bank, this, according to Obi, is aimed at supporting Small Micro Enterprises, SMEs, in his community.

Not only that, he also donated 10 million naira to Agulu skills acquisition center and another 30 million naira to the Agulu Progressive Union, APU, women wing.

Furthermore, he gave the community Vigilance group, ( AVG) two Innoson pick up trucks to support and improve security in the community.

Before now, Obi had been accused of neglecting his Agulu community, while outsiders praise him for being the champion of humanitarian services.
