The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has described his predecessor, Chief Willie Obiano, as an honourable man.
In a Facebook post felicitating Obiano on his 70th birthday, Soludo wrote:“I’ve had the privilege of knowing a few honourable men, and my predecessor, the former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano (Akpokuedike Aguleri), is one of them. Happy 70th birthday to an honourable gentleman!
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Anambra State, I wish you a joyous celebration. May God Almighty continue to bless the rest of your days with peace, good health, and happiness.”
In a separate official birthday tribute issued by his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo commended Chief Obiano, who served as Governor of Anambra State from March 17, 2014, to March 17, 2022, as a worthy predecessor who made a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the state and the welfare of its people.
Soludo celebrated Obiano for attaining the milestone age of 70, wishing him continued good health, happiness, and many more years of celebration and service to humanity.
