In a heartfelt expression of sympathy, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sly Ezeokenwa, has extended his deepest condolences to the Ozigbo family of Arondizuogu, Imo State, for the loss of Mrs. Elizabeth Chinwe Ozigbo, a revered matriarch and mother to Rev. Fr. Stanley Ozigbo.
Mrs. Ozigbo was a school teacher to the APGA National Chairman, and her life and virtues have left an indelible mark on her community.
Reflecting on Mrs. Ozigbo’s life and contributions, Ezeokenwa, remarked, “Mrs. Ozigbo was an exceptional wife, mother, mother-in-law and phenomenal teacher whose presence was a source of warmth, compassion, and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her unwavering kindness, vibrant spirit, and commitment to uplifting those around her have profoundly influenced the fabric of our community.
She embodied the essence of selflessness, always eager to extend a helping hand and offer words of encouragement.”
The celebration of Mrs. Ozigbo’s life was marked by a solemn burial mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Fegge Onitsha, led by the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Onitsha Archdiocese, His Grace Most Rev Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke.
In his homily, Rev. Fr. Ikechukwu Nwanegbo praised Mrs. Ozigbo for her devout Christian faith and her life dedicated to acts of charity, kindness, and compassion towards her community.
The funeral saw the gathering of many who came to pay their respects and celebrate Mrs. Ozigbo’s life, including clergy, members of religious orders, and leaders from various sectors, including industry, politics, and the community. This diverse attendance underscores the wide-reaching influence and esteem in which Mrs. Ozigbo was held, reflecting the impact of her remarkable life on people from all walks of life.
