A frontline governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Valentine Ozigbo, has declared that he is not afraid of death amidst alleged plots against his life.

Ozigbo’s reaction followed a prophecy by Evangelist Ebuka Obi of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach.

Expressing gratitude to Evangelist Obi for his courage in speaking out, Ozigbo reaffirmed his commitment to rescuing Anambra from its current state of insecurity and decadence.

“I am not afraid because ‘God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind’,” Ozigbo stated, citing 2 Timothy 1:7.

Ozigbo’s campaign focuses on restoring dignity, security, and prosperity to Anambra.

He emphasized that this mission is divinely directed and urged supporters to stand strong, keep their faith firm, and move forward with courage and determination.

Ozigbo also addressed the issue of insecurity in Anambra, criticizing the government’s delayed response to the killings and violence.

“If our government had truly cared, why did it take three years for them to start addressing security?” he asked.

“Everyone sees the lapses in the makeshift security arrangements where innocent people have become hapless victims of a poorly thought-out solution.”

Ozigbo emphasized that his campaign is not about personal ambition but about the collective struggle of the people of Anambra for a better future.

“This campaign is born out of a burning desire deep-rooted in the general dissatisfaction with the current trajectory of Anambra State,” he said.

He extended an olive branch to those opposed to his candidacy, urging them to join him in his mission to rescue Anambra.

“Rather than resorting to fear and intimidation, you can decide to step into the light. You do not have to fight the future—you can be part of it.”

Ozigbo invited all who believe in a better Anambra to join him, saying, “Let us work fervently and VALiantly. Anambra’s time is now. Ka Anambra Chawapu!”
