The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) Media Warriors Forum,Chinedu Obigwe, has tackled the 2023 presidential candidate of the party, Prof Peter Umeadi, over the latter’s comment that he his the face of APGA in Nigeria.

Umeadi was recently reported to have boasted that as the face of APGA in Nigeria that he would support Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his ( Ubah’s ) bid to vie for the governor of Anambra State in 2023.

Reacting to the development, Obigwe said Umeadi who scored only five votes in his Nri ward during the presidential elections had no electoral value to have warranted him to make such audacious claim.

Obigwe said, “The Umeadi family in Agu Ukwu Nri is a very big family but Umeadi as a Presidential candidate of APGA was only able to secure five votes in his polling units.

“What it means is that even his large family rejected him in that election.

“Governor Soludo won his polling unit APGA with 92 votes in that Presidential election and Umeadi had the effrontery to refer to himself as the face of APGA.

“Fielding Umeadi as APGA Presidential candidate in 2023 was a huge mistake.
A Presidential candidate that was unable to win his polling unit, ward and local government does not have any political value.

“He is obviously a liability to APGA and APC can take him for dash. I remember vividly, how Umeadi was complaining of funding because he expected Governor Soludo to use Anambra money to bankroll his election and the Governor refused to waste Anambra lean resources in that manner.

Continuing, Obigwe said, “Umeadi wanted to use the clinching of APGA Presidential ticket for scam purpose but his evil plan was nipped in the bud.
He is a nobody in APGA because he cannot boast of making any meaningful sacrifice for the party.

“Umeadi has no electoral value and that is why he lost his polling unit shamefully in that 2023 Presidential election.

“His claim of holding offor APGA is a vague claim and a lie from.the pit of hell.
If the offor he is holding is the 5votes he secured in his polling unit in the 2023 Presidential election, he should go with it because APGA does not need it.

“The party faithfuls know those that made immense sacrifice and contribution for the growth of the party.

“Umeadi is obviously not among them because his membership of APGA from June 2022 till date did not add any value to the party.
