Political appointees will vote in June 23rd primary election, says APGA

Political appointees will vote in the  primary election of the All Progressives Grand Alliance slated for June 23,2021.

The National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors, Chinedu Obigwe, gave this clarification in a statement made available to our correspondent on Wednesday in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
He advised those who were misinterpreting the Electoral Act in that respect to rethink, stating that such people had started failing when the exercise had not commenced.

He said,”The reality of failure is clearly staring their political camp  in the face hence the reason why they are misinterpreting the 2010 Electoral Act (as amended )

“As the date for APGA primary draws closer, they running helter-skelter because they now know that they will lose the primary election .

“They now interpret the Electoral Act in a way that suits them and gives them the hopeless hope of winning the primary.
What a pity? The painful truth is that they will be crushed on June 23rd.

“I say it boldly that they are wrong, political appointees cannot be automatic delegates but they can vote in the primary as adhoc delegates.

Waging a lost battle is a waste of time and that is exactly what the camp of APGA Judas iscariot is doing.

“Political appointees are not their problem and in that regards ,I will advise them to stop scheming of how to prevent political appointees from voting in the June 23rd primary.

Obigwe added,”The forthcoming APGA primary will be free, fair and devoid of any manipulation because the leadership of the party are firmly committed to do the right thing without fear or favour.
