Cristiano Ronaldo’s staggering earnings have once again made headlines — this time, for a performance-based clause in his contract with Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr, which will see him pocket an additional £80,000 (about ₦160 million) for every goal he scores.
The goal bonus is part of a broader incentive-laden deal tied to his record-breaking contract, reportedly worth £178 million per year, making him the highest-paid footballer in the world.
Ronaldo also receives £40,000 (₦80 million) for each assist he provides on the pitch.
Beyond these on-field incentives, the 39-year-old Portuguese icon stands to earn even more from other performance bonuses — including £4 million (₦8 billion) if he finishes as the league’s top scorer, and £8 million (₦16 billion) if Al-Nassr clinches the Saudi Pro League title.
The luxury package extends far beyond football. It includes access to a private jet, opulent accommodation, a team of personal staff, and even a reported stake in the club.
Since joining Al-Nassr in late 2022, Ronaldo has been instrumental in boosting the global profile of the Saudi Pro League.
And now, with every goal carrying a price tag of ₦160 million, each strike from the football superstar is not just a moment of brilliance — it’s a financial spectacle.
