The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s reelection has justified the confidence the people of Anambra State have in him as well as his astute performance and commitment to the upliftment of the basic welfare of the people and overall development of the State during his first tenure.
In his Congratulatory Message to Governor Soludo on behalf of the State Legislature on his second term inauguration, Rt.Hon.Udeze maintained that the State Legislature will continue to work harmoniously with the Governor for the peace and progress of the State by enacting development driven laws and resolutions, adding that Governor Soludo has succeeded in transforming all sectors of the State economy through lofty programmes and policies especially his thoughtful free education policy in the State.
The State Number One Lawmaker revealed that Governor Soludo has through determined efforts, prudence, good works and uncommon leadership style of inclusive governance, rekindled the confidence of the people in participatory democracy, evident in his massive accomplishments in education, health, agriculture, youth empowerment, security architecture, road infrastructure, employment opportunities as well as expanding development to the frontiers of the rural areas among other thrusts and gains of his first tenure.
Rt.Hon.Udeze noted that the good news about Governor Soludo’s second term inauguration is that the Governor had through the details of his 2026 Budget, displayed renewed vigour and firm commitment to continue and consolidate on the solid foundation and massive achievements he has recorded in the last four years, appealing to the citizenry to continue to pray fervently for the Governor and give him more support as his second term unfolds to enable him take the State to greater heights in line with the dreams of the founding fathers of Anambra State.
The Speaker enjoined captains of industry as well as business magnets in the State to avail themselves of the healthy business environment created by Governor Soludo to expand their investments especially now that the security architecture of the State has improved drastically.
