Soludo Unveils landmark projects for Anambra, Connects with Diaspora,others

In a significant move to boost infrastructure development and transform Anambra State into a technological hub, the Prof Chukwuma Soludo-led State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved several landmark projects worth billions of naira.

At the top of the list is the construction of a Specialist hospital in Fegge, Onitsha South Local Government Area, valued at N679,898,015.26. This project aims to enhance healthcare delivery in the state.

Other approved projects include:
– Erosion control at Awgbu community in Orumba North LGA (N96,596,804.96)
– Supply of Heavy Duty Trucks and equipment to OCHA Brigade (N191,285,500)
– Supply and installation of machines and equipment to retool Anambra State Hydroform and Concrete Agency (N472,991,789.26)

In a groundbreaking initiative, ANSEC also approved the creation of a “One Million Tribe” of young tech experts to position Anambra State as the digital capital of Nigeria.

Additionally, the council approved the establishment of a Public Community Private Partnership (PCPP) platform to enable Ndi Anambra in Diaspora and within the country to contribute to community development.

These approvals demonstrate the state government’s commitment to driving growth, improving lives, and fostering a technology-driven economy.
