Africa Illustrious Award today honoured the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha, KSJI, with Distinguished Southeast Youth Leader Award.
The award was to encourage him for leveraging his network to mainstream youth development and creating fresh opportunities for the young people in Anambra beyond the shores of Nigeria.
Dr Omenugha, after receiving the award at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos expressed his deepest gratitude to Africa Illustrious Award for the recognition and assured to commit more to youth mentorship and development.
He noted that his principal, Governor Chukwuma Soludo CFR, is very intentional about building a great future for Anambra youths and also to prepare them to lead the future.
Noting that his objective revolves around Governor Soludo’s agenda for the young people in Anambra State, Dr Omenugha, promised greater commitment to building youths who are productive at home and exportable abroad.
He appreciated Governor Soludo for the opportunity to serve in that capacity and encouraged Anambra youths to leverage Governor Soludo’s passion for youth development and excel beyond the limit.
