a chieftain of All Grand Alliance (APGA), Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s proposal for the party to form alliances with other political parties.
Obigwe described the move as a “welcome development” and a “thing of joy” for APGA faithful.
According to Obigwe, Governor Soludo’s declaration at the last APGA NEC meeting was a clear demonstration to his nationalist stance and his commitment to the growth and progress of the party.
Obigwe expressed confidence that with Soludo at the helm, APGA would yield fruitful results from the alliance.
The APGA chieftain noted that Governor Soludo’s leadership style as the Anambra State Governor has been impressive, transforming the state into a reference point for good governance.
Obigwe believes that this achievement will be a valuable asset when negotiating alliances with other political parties.
Obigwe also drew a distinction between Soludo’s proposed alliance and the one led by Rochas Okorocha, which resulted in the party losing Imo State.
He assured that Soludo’s alliance will strengthen the party and make it an attractive partner for other political parties.
He noted that the APC-led federal government has already given APGA the green light for an alliance by appointing APGA members to key positions, including Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and MD/CEO of Southeast Development Commission.
This development has been welcomed by APGA faithful, who see it as a positive step towards forming a strong alliance.
Obigwe maintained that Governor Soludo’s declaration is a good step in the right direction, and APGA faithful are completely in support of the move.
He expressed optimism that the alliance would yield fruitful results for the party, making it a beautiful bride in Nigerian politics.
