Soludo’s Bombshell: Ukachukwu’s F9s in Economics, Mathematics, English Makes Him Fit for Tipper Driver, Not Governor

It was fireworks at Agu-Awka over the weekend as Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, took direct aim at APC’s governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, dismissing him as “grossly unfit” to rule Anambra.

Soludo, while inaugurating APGA’s 2025 Governorship Campaign Council, did not mince words. He tore into Ukachukwu’s academic records, alleging that the APC candidate “crawled out of school with F9 in Economics, F9 in Mathematics, and F9 in English” — subjects he described as the backbone of leadership.

“How will a man who failed English understand official documents? How will he calculate Anambra’s money when he failed Mathematics? Such a person should be driving a tipper, not dreaming of becoming governor of a state that produced Chinua Achebe, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ojukwu, Alex Ekwueme, Chuba Okadigbo and other great icons,” Soludo thundered, drawing wild cheers from party loyalists.

The Governor further accused Ukachukwu of land grabbing, describing it as his “only trade.”

He also lampooned the doctorate degree Ukachukwu parades, branding it “fake and useless.” According to him, the university that allegedly issued the PhD is neither accredited in the United States nor recognized by Nigeria’s National Universities Commission (NUC).

“Such fraud is unbecoming of someone who wants to govern Anambra. We cannot hand this state to a man with questionable credentials,” Soludo declared.

The remarks have set off a political storm, with APGA supporters hailing Soludo’s “truth bomb” and APC circles scrambling for a response.

As the November 8 governorship race heats up, one thing is certain: the gloves are off, and the political battlefield is on fire.
