Stop peddling lies, APGA Media Chief tackles Tony Nwoye over allegation against Obiano

The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has counseled the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr Tony Nwoye, to learn to behave like a senator.

Obigwe stated this in statement in Reaction to Nwoye’s comment that a former governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, misappropriated the fund meant for road construction in Aguleri area.

Nwoye in a viral video said Obiano used the fund for the road construction to fund the election of the incumbent governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

Reacting to the development in a statement on Sunday, Obigwe said Nwoye was suffering from diarrhea of the mouth and enjoined him to learn to behave like a senator instead of constantly peddling falsehood.

Obigwe said, “Anambra North people have obviously entered a one-chance bus because their Senator called Tony Nwoye does not know how to talk in public. The way he is running his mouth flippantly is unbecoming of a Senator.

“I watched a recent video of Tony Nwoye professing fake love for former Governor Obiano and saying things I know very well that he cannot substantiate.

Obigwe added, “Tony Nwoye opened his mouth wide to say that former Governor Obiano reason for not completing Eziagulu Otu road was because he used money meant for the project to fund Governor Soludo election.

“He even justified his claim by saying that any outgoing Governor will do the same thing to be able to install his successor.

“This is a fabricated tissue of lies that must be ignored by sane minds.
When I watched the video, I said to myself that Tony Nwoye is obviously suffering chronic diarrhoea of the mouth ailment and that made him to be talking flippantly without control.

“The truth is that Tony Nwoye knows nothing about the duties of a Senator.
He is of the belief that being a Senator gave him the license of talking flippantly and saying things that he cannot substantiate.

“Former Governor Obiano did not tell Tony Nwoye that he used money meant for Eziagulu Otu road project to fund Governor Soludo election.What Tony Nwoye said in Aguleri was a fabricated tissue of lies aimed at using it to hoodwink the gullible minded.

“He is desperately looking for a way to win over Aguleri electorate but lying against Fmr Governor Obiano is his worst mistake. The best thing for Tony Nwoye to do is to stitch his mouth because he does not know how to talk in public.

“If Tony Nwoye is called to substantiate his latest claim about fmr Governor Obiano, he will not be able to do that.
The good people of Anambra North made a huge mistake in the last 2023 general election. If not for that regrettable mistake, someone like Tony Nwoye is not supposed to be in the hallowed red Chambers.

“He is confused and does not know how to give the good people of Anambra North effective representation hence his reason for always beating around the bush.

Obigwe said,”The only thing Tony Nwoye understands as the duty of a Senator is opening his mouth wide to be talking flippantly without control.
Another thing he specialises in doing is chasing shadows.

“Spreading fabricated tissue of lies will not help Tony Nwoye to win the heart of Aguleri electorate and that is to say that he is wasting his time by thinking that he can use such to hoodwink them.

“I’m confident that Anambra North electorate will correct the mistake they made in Tony Nwoye in the next general election and nothing will stop them from doing that”.
