The political atmosphere in Anambra State has gone electric as Labour Party governorship candidate, Chief Dr. George Moghalu (Ohamadike), paid a strategic and closely watched visit to the home of Mr. Peter Obi, the revered Labour Party leader and 2023 presidential candidate.
The closed-door meeting, which took place over the weekend, has sent shockwaves through the state’s political landscape, sparking speculation, alignments, and tension ahead of the crucial November 8 governorship election.
Moghalu’s visit makes him the first governorship aspirant in the state to meet with Obi in what party insiders describe as a “calculated and high-level engagement.”
