The alleged ongoing extortion, according to them, is at the Management Information Communication Technology Unit,( MICTU), where the thump printing for Computer Based tests are going on

The Razor, gathered that the students were being charged up to 10,000 naira, when the exercise suppose to be a free thing

According to one of the students from Ogidi, who pleaded for his identity to be hidden, said the office treat the students as if they are animals.

” At times we arrive the centre as early as 5.30am and stay till evening without any success though because of crowd.

” But the most annoying thing is the way they collect between 5,000 to 10,000 naira gratification from the ‘yahoo yahoo’ boys and others whose parents are well to do anytime they arrive.

“When such students arrive, the school security will start chasing us away like primary school students with cane to make way for those they collect the money from.

“it’s painful. The Management should intervene and save us from such harassment and intimidation” he said

The thump printing started sometime ago but has been shifted to 18 July
