The Senator Representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Senator Dr Tony Nwoye has rejoiced with the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe (Agbogidi), on the occasion of his 83rd birthday Celebration.
Senator Nwoye, in a statement he personally signed lauded the Royal father’s unwavering dedication to Nigeria’s unity and development.
He saluted the Igwe Achebe for devoting so much of his time, resources and influence to champion access to quality education as a necessity for national development.
He said,”Today, I celebrate the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, mni CFR (Agbogidi) on his 83rd birthday anniversary.
“The good people of Onitsha Ado N’Idu, the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District and Ndi Anambra are so proud of your exemplary life style and outstanding leadership as Chairman of Anambra State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Southeast Council of Traditional Rulers.”
The Senator thanked the monarch for setting a worthy example to the traditional institution on dignity and honour in public office, respect for diversity, and dedication to the culture of peace and bridge-building.
He joined family, friends, well-wishers, the good people of Anambra North, Ndi Anambra and beneficiaries of Igwe Achebe’s leadership and philanthropic gestures in praying that Almighty God grants the celebrant more years of health and happiness.
