The Anambra State Anti-Touting Director, Mr. Chukwuebuka Solomon said he is glad that his group, Anambra State Anti-Touting is already winning the war against touting in the state.
Ebuka as fondly called by his admirers who spoke through the Anambra Vigilant Group, AVG, Public Relations Officer, Mr. Nweke Nweke said since His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo shouldered his group with the responsibility of ridding all the streets and motor parks across the state out of miscreants otherwise known as touts, his group are living to the expectations of Ndi-Anambra.
Recall that AVG and Anti Touting share the same Ministry of Homeland Affairs under the full supervision of the hardworking Commissioner for, Chief Chikodi Anara (Igbakaigba) who has been determined to restore both the dignity and attitudinal behavior ofNdi-Anambra.
Noting that the state has been under siege by the non-state actors the Director added that it has taken them sleepless nights in the fight against those who had posed as threats to both residents and visitors to Anambra State.
“It has not been easy but God is on our side, we are gradually subduing them. You can agree with me that the none going to Upper Iweka before now is now free and convenient for business. Apart from Upper Iweka in Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Ihiala and other notable urban towns in the state are relatively calm and we thank God for His kindness to my men.” Mr. Chukwuebuka Solomon stated.
Lauding His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo for giving them exhibit their love for Anambra State, through crusading for free business dealing in the state, Anti Touting Director, assured both His Excellency and the people of the state, particularly the business community of their continued fight against the criminals who were head- bent in tarnishing the image of the state.
