The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance( APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has said nothing can bring the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State back to life.
He accused Prof Obiora Okonkwo of putting the final nail in the coffin of the PDP in the state in the 2023 general elections by his demonstrable ineptitude.
Obigwe, who was reacting to a comment by the Anambra State PDP publicity secretary, Chuks Uloka, wherein he ( Uloka) alluded that Prof Chukwuma Soludo, had performed below expectations, said no amount of campaign of calumny would resurrect the PDP in the state.
He enjoined the PDP, on its platform Prof Obiora Okonkwo is being speculated to possibly contest the 2025 governorship of the state, to stop dissipating energy on a futile mission of resurrecting Anambra PDP
Obigwe said,” In my reaction to the Uloka’s referred piece, I will advise Chuks Uloka my friend to stop dissipating energy in a futile mission of resurrecting Anambra PDP.No amount of blackmail will bring PDP back to life in Anambra.
“As a matter of fact, PDP was better and stronger without Obiora Okonkwo seizing control of the party.
“He led Anambra PDP in the last general election and he produced a shameful result for the party.Infact, he killed the formerly comatose party in the last general election.
“Obiora Okonkwo that Chuks Uloka is working for is a politician without electoral value.He parades himself as a major PDP stakeholder in Anambra but cannot boast of winning his Ogidi community for PDP.
“He claimed that his defection to Zenith Labour Party in 2021 weakened PDP and helped Soludo to win the last governorship election. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
“Obiora Okonkwo does not enjoy grassroots support in Anambra and most importantly, his Ogidi community.

In that 2021 governorship election, the current State Chairman of APGA in the person of Ifeatu Obiokoye ensured that APGA defeated Obiora Okonkwo at Ogidi community even when Obiora Okonkwo was a governorship candidate in the election.
Ogidi people voted against him in favour of Soludo. Ogidi has ward 1 and ward 2. At Ward 2 that is Obiora Okonkwo ward, he got 458 votes and APGA scored 392 votes. But in Ogidi ward 1, Obiora Okonkwo got 103 votes and APGA scored 1188 votes.
The total vote of Obiora Okonkwo at his Ogidi community in that 2021 governorship election that he participated as a candidate is 561 and the total votes of APGA is 1580.
When I say that Obiora Okonkwo’s governorship ambition is dead on arrival, am saying the reality.
In this 2023 general election Obiora Okonkwo lost polling units 009, 010 and 011 situated at Ogidi Town hall.
This is where he casts his vote.
But in this last election, Governor Soludo proved his mettle by winning his isuofia community and Aguata local government for APGA in all the elections.
He went as far as ensuring the victory of some APGA candidates in that election.
That is to say that in terms of electoral value, Obiora Okonkwo is a nobody to Governor Soludo.
The state chairman of APGA has his antidote and will always administer enough dose of it on him in every election at their Ogidi community.
Anybody talking about APGA dominance of Anambra State should know that it is as a result of Anambra electorate’s love for the party and that the party is living up to the electorates expectation.
From the look of things, APGA will govern Anambra State for more than 100years because of the good work the party is doing in the State.
PDP as at today in Anambra is a dead party and the party cannot come back to life with Chuks Uloka noise making being sponsored by Obiora Okonkwo his pay master that does not have electoral value even in his Ogidi community
