The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr Tony Okafor, has said that God can unturn an unpleasant situation round for good.
He stated this in his Easter message to the people of his constituency and Anambra State in general.
He said the Easter season had emboldened him to continue to serve with utmost commitment as he would unfold more developmental strides so that the people would triumph all challenges as one people.
His message read in part,” Umunnem Ndi Anambra North Senatorial and Ndi Anambra, I join you all and other Christians around the world as we joyfully celebrate this year’s Easter, which remarks the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, signposting his victory over death.
“At the heart of Easter, is indeed the triumph of light over darkness when Christ broke the prison-bars of death and rose victoriously from the underworld.
“Easter is a season that evokes in us especially in the face of daunting challenges that the Almighty can turn an unpleasant situation round for good.
“As your senator, this season has emboldened me to continue to serve you with utmost commitment as I unfold more developmental strides so that we can triumph all challenges as one people.
“As we celebrate this season with our families, neighbors and communities, let us do so in love, compassion, kindness, resilience and forgiveness.
“May this season of Christ’s death and resurrection bring us hope and joy that our tomorrow will be alright.I wish you all a blessed and joyful Easter.’
