APGA Backs Ezeokenwa as Nat’l Chairman, Exposes Edozie Njoku as Proxy in 2025 Guber Power Play

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has vowed not to be hijacked by a controversial court order, insisting that Chief Sly Ezeokenwa remains its authentic national chairman.

In a statement issued on Monday in Awka, the National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors’ Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, expressed the party’s resolve to resist any attempt to undermine its democratic structures.

Obigwe’s statement followed the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) recognition of Edozie Njoku as APGA’s national chairman, contrary to the party’s convention in Awka, where Ezeokenwa was duly elected.

The State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo had at Mbaukwu at the weekend declared his support for Ezeokenwa, reaffirming his position as APGA’s national chairman.

According to Obigwe the governor had boosted the morale of party members, praising Soludo for standing up against the “strange court order” and reassured party faithful that APGA’s leadership remains intact.

“The development has sparked a fresh wave of confidence among APGA members, who are now more united than ever in their resolve to resist any attempt to hijack the party.

With the Soludo declaration, APGA is poised to move forward, unfazed by the recent controversy, Obigwe said.

The APGA Chief added,” Governor Soludo commendable stand on APGA leadership issue is an assurance to the party faithful that the Egyptians they see today laying claim to the leadership of the party that they shall see them no more.

“APGA members received their sweetest news from Governor Soludo at Mbaukwu.Edozie Njoku and his cohorts evil mission will definitely be nipped in the bud.

“To God be the glory that Governor Soludo is among Abuja landlords and not a stranger in the Federal Capital Territory. He will definitely thwart Edozie Njoku evil plan.

“His stand on APGA leadership issue reminded me of what played out during his election with regards to how evil minded people fought hard to stop his name from being published as APGA candidate for the 2021 governorship election.

“They used this same Jude Okeke outdated strategy. All of a sudden, INEC published Jude Okeke name as APGA national Chairman and Chukwuma Umeoji as APGA candidate.

“On arrival to Anambra from America, APGA party faithful went to receive former Governor Obiano at Anambra Airport and as he alighted from his flight his first message to APGA members was that what INEC did would not stand.

“He stated that Victor Oye remained APGA national Chairman and that Prof Soludo remained APGA governorship candidate that will take over from him.

“He did not mince words in assuring APGA members that Prof Soludo would take over from him as Governor. All he said later came to fruition.

Continuing, Obigwe said,” That type of assurance was given to APGA members by Governor Soludo at Mbaukwu.

“Edozie Njoku macabre dance will definitely end in shame. He will go the way of Jude Okeke.

“We only know Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa as APGA national Chairman and Governor Soludo as the indefatigable national leader of APGA.

“Our party cannot be hijacked with a strange Court order.Those that tried it in the past have always ended up being disgraced and confined to the dustbin of history. The same thing will happen to the impostor Edozie Njoku and his cohorts.

“2025 election battle is a must win for APGA because Anambra electorate are determined to reward Governor Soludo for his administration good work in our State.

“It is only people of little faith that can be deceived with Edozie Njoku macabre dance. He came in through the window and will be thrown out through the same window.

“I challenge Edozie Njoku to hold meeting as APGA Chairman for Nigerians to see those that will attend his meeting.

“It is only strangers that will attend his meeting because the genuine APGA members and elected officials have rejected him as their national Chairman.

“They only know and recognises Barr Sly Ezeokenwa that came in through the door as national Chairman.Edozie Njoku is being used to fight 2025 governorship election battle by proxy but disgrace and shameful defeat awaits him and his cohorts.No vacancy in Anambra government house till 2030.
