Youths apprehend 5 indigenes helping gunmen to operate in Ogbaru [VIDEO]

Vigilant youths of Ogbaru have orchestrated the arrest of five youths who have been aiding secessionist elements in attacking communities  in the local government are.

Though Ogbaru has been plagued with violence as a result of oil mining in the area, Biafra secessionists have also been invading and damaging properties there.

There have in recent times been attacks on police stations, local government secretariat and even an attack on UN officials who visited the area.

But on Monday morning, youths of the area mobilized and apprehended some of the perpetuators.

One of them who was described as Eselu was said to be hardened, and responsible for most of the attacks, including inviting bandits who pose as freedom fighters to the local government for attacks.

As at the time of filing this report, no report has been issued by the state police command.
