Chinedu Obigwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has dismissed criticism from opposition elements regarding the recent local government election in Anambra State, labeling them “disgruntled elements,”

Obigwe stated that the opposition’s negative reaction was expected, as they typically claim elections are unfair when they lose.

“For them, any election they did not win is not free and fair,” he noted.

The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) was praised for conducting a free, fair, and transparent election.

Although voter turnout was low, the election was peaceful, with security agents present to prevent trouble.

Governor Soludo’s administration was commended for fulfilling its promise of a fair election.

Obigwe advised the public to disregard the opposition’s criticism, describing it as “crocodile tears.”

This development comes as APGA continues to solidify its presence in Anambra State, having governed the area since 2006.

It’s worth noting that the opposition, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed concerns over the election .

However, APGA supporters have expressed confidence in Governor Soludo’s administration and the party’s victory in the local government council election
