Chinedu Obigwe, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has strongly condemned opposition elements in Anambra State for exploiting the recent Nibo killings for political gain.

In a statement issued on Monda, Obigwe described those celebrating the tragic incident as “blood-sucking demons” with dead consciences, more interested in blackmailing Governor Soludo’s administration than condemning the violence.

“Their reaction to the Nibo killings is reprehensible,” Obigwe said, adding “Instead of genuinely condemning the senseless violence and sympathizing with the victims’ families, they’re using it to score cheap political points.”

Obigwe expressed confidence in the security agents’ ability to track down the perpetrators, ensuring they face justice.

“Those responsible for the Nibo killings will not go scot-free. It may take time, but our security agencies will bring them to book.”

He urged the people of Anambra to remain supportive of Governor Soludo’s administration, which he believes is working tirelessly to address the state’s challenges.

“Governor Soludo needs our continued backing to tackle the issues facing our state. His administration has demonstrated commitment to the welfare and security of Anambra people, and we must not let politicization of tragedies undermine his efforts.”

The Nibo killings have sparked widespread outrage, with many calling for increased security measures and swift justice for the victims.
