Bizzare: Construction workers uncover woman’s corpse at Ekwulobia Light of Nation Tower site

Construction workers at the Light of the Nation Tower site in Ekwulobia stumbled upon a freshly buried woman’s corpse on Saturday.

The construction site, which is part of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s initiative to beautify the environment and establish a smart mega city, had encroached upon nearby buildings and was also accommodating the construction of the Ekwulobia Flyover and road dualization.

Sources reveal that the unearthed corpse appears to be recently buried, raising questions about the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding her death.

Further investigation uncovered that the husband of the woman in question had passed away about five years ago.

As of Saturday afternoon, a large crowd had gathered at the scene, with many expressing shock and curiosity.

Despite attempts to reach out, officials from the construction company declined to comment.

However, insiders confirmed that community leaders had been informed, and a report was likely to be filed with the police.

A crowd was still hanging around the scene of the discovery as of Saturday afternoon.

The construction project aims to beautify the environment and establish a smart mega city.

The police are yet to confirm if the matter has been officially reported to them.
