The Anambra State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, Chief Okey Ezenwa, has charged zonal and local government coordinators of the group in the state to actively promote and advance the policies, achievements and objectives of the Tinubu administration.

Ezenwa gave the charge in Awka during the inauguration of the zonal and local government coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Anambra State.

He described the newly inaugurated coordinators as individuals entrusted with the critical responsibility of communicating the policies and accomplishments of the President, alongside the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, the event was more than a ceremonial exercise, noting that it marked a call to action aimed at empowering the coordinators to engage directly with households across the state.

Ezenwa expressed the gratitude of the Anambra State chapter of the RHA to President Tinubu for the confidence reposed in the group, describing the assignment as crucial to national development.

He also commended the President’s “visionary and principled leadership,” which he said had made tangible progress in strengthening national unity.
He further acknowledged the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, describing his leadership as exceptional.

“The mission of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Anambra remains constructive engagement—communicating policy objectives, celebrating progress, and highlighting the President’s long-term strategic plan for Nigeria,” Ezenwa said.

He urged the coordinators to anchor their activities on integrity, transparency, accountability and humility, while fostering inclusive participation in the nation’s democratic process.

Addressing the zonal coordinators, Ezenwa described them as the vital link between state leadership and the diverse communities of Anambra, noting that they would oversee and coordinate RHA activities within their zones.

He added that they would be required to periodically receive and assess reports from local government coordinators on activities, progress and the impact of RHA programmes.

“You are expected to clarify and justify policy intentions and explain how they translate into improved standards of living for the people,” he said.

“You must model principled leadership, maintain open dialogue and measure progress through tangible results.”

Turning to the local government coordinators, Ezenwa described them as grassroots ambassadors responsible for policy promotion and programme advocacy within towns, wards and communities.

He urged them to listen to local concerns, clarify policy implications and facilitate partnerships that advance shared goals.

“Your leadership must be inclusive, culturally sensitive and committed to delivering concrete improvements in people’s lives,” he said, adding that they should present government policies in clear and accessible language, while creating platforms for feedback and dialogue.

Ezenwa also charged them to highlight how the administration’s priorities align with the needs of Anambra communities in the areas of security, economic development, healthcare, education and social welfare.

He further stressed the importance of projecting the Renewed Hope Agenda as a practical roadmap, outlining achievements so far, ongoing efforts and opportunities for community participation.

On a final note, he encouraged the coordinators to organise town hall meetings involving residents, civil society groups, faith-based organisations and the private sector.

“The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Anambra State must inspire confidence, drive measurable improvements and deepen trust in our democratic process,” Ezenwa said.

He pledged to lead the organisation with transparency and accountability, expressing optimism that the inauguration would usher in a renewed era of purposeful service, informed advocacy and a deeper understanding of President Tinubu’s vision for sustainable national development.
