The senatorial hopeful of the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, for Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, has rallied his supporters to brace up for an epic battle ahead of the party’s primary election and main election coming up next year. Nwankwo who stated this soon after scaling the hurdle of APGA Screening, said the journey to fruitful representation in Abuja had just begun.
Nwankwo, a well known philanthropist, thanked the APGA Screening Committee for a thorough job, noting that APGA had been known for such impeccable quality.
Nwankwo, a one-time member of the Federal House, expressed confidence in winning the primary and main elections, given his pedigree and grassroots touch.
He said his stint as Federal House member had equipped him to do an even better job in the Senate.
“I’m not new to my people and my people are not new to me. I have lived most of my life among them and appreciate their problems. That was one of the chief reasons I set up the Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo Foundation years ago, through which I touched many lives. I’m ready to do more if given the mandate,” Nwankwo, popularly called “Onye Ndozi”, stated.
Political analysts see Nwankwo as a clear favorite to emerge as the APGA Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central.
