The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the November 8, 2025 Anambra State governorship election, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu (JCN), has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Mr. Osondu Clement Okpalairuaku in Umueze Akpo, Aguata Local Government Area, following his death at the age of 58.
The deceased was the younger brother of former Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Ogochukwu Okpala.
During the visit, Nwosu expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, describing the late Okpalairuaku as a humble, accomplished and respected gentleman whose life was defined by integrity, devotion to his family and service to his community.
He urged members of the family to find comfort in the positive legacy left behind by the deceased and prayed for God to grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“I pray that God will console the family and grant the soul of the departed eternal rest,” Nwosu said.
The ADC governorship candidate was accompanied by friends and political associates, who joined him in commiserating with the Okpalairuaku family and offering prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
The condolence visit was marked by solemn reflections, prayers and words of encouragement as family members, friends and sympathizers gathered to honour the memory of the late Osondu Clement Okpalairuaku.
Mr. Okpalairuaku is survived by members of his immediate and extended family. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family.
