The governor described the septuagenarian’s 70th birthday as a testament to God’s grace and a reward for a lifetime devoted to service to humanity, noting that the landmark age also celebrates “a living epitome of wisdom.”
Reflecting on Oye’s contributions to the party, Soludo commended his tenure as APGA National Chairman, during which he said the party witnessed stability and growth despite political challenges.
He said Oye’s leadership entrenched discipline, unity and a winning culture within the party, adding that he successfully steered APGA through turbulent political periods while strengthening its structures.
The governor further noted that Oye, who currently serves as a member of the APGA Board of Trustees (BoT), has continued to provide valuable leadership and remains a dependable ally in the ongoing governance and transformation of Anambra State.
