Aiza Nwosu not a cultist, new house I was building for him caused his death – Son

News

The Son of popular Awka MC (Aiza Nwosu), Ugo Aiza Valentine Nwosu whose father was killed on Sunday  evening in Awka has written a moving tribute to his late father.

He insisted that despite his death being linked to cult war, his father was not a cultist or a las grabber, but a fun loving guy who only wanted to live and enjoy good music.

He said the cause of his father’s death was a new house he was building for his parents to upgrade their lives, after demolishing the previous one.

Below is the tribute…

“MY HEART IS FULL OF ENDLESS GRIEF… 💔😭. AIZA NWOSU — MY FATHER, MY HERO.

My father was a very peaceful man. He was a man deeply loved by many, and my love for him is beyond comparison. There are no words powerful enough to describe what he meant to me, to our family, and to the countless lives he touched.

My father was the kind of man who could spend 70% of his hard-earned money helping people outside his home — strangers, people he barely knew, and people who had nobody else to turn to. He would come back home with very little, but we were always okay with it because we understood the kind of heart he had.

He never discriminated against anyone. Even people society had abandoned loved him. He was the kind of man who could take the body of someone who had suddenly died in a car accident or violent attack to the hospital, without first thinking about the implications or what the police might say.

He fought for people who had nobody to fight for.
He stood against injustice.
He settled disputes and helped restore peace in many homes.
There are families living peacefully today because my father chose to intervene when he could have simply walked away.

That was Aiza Nwosu.

He was unique in all his ways. He was creative, peaceful, generous, and full of life. His greatest happiness was his music. He could play his music from morning till night and would always say:

“Music heals the soul.”

My father also made it clear that he did not want to take an Ozo title for two reasons. First, he believed that becoming an Ozo would mean giving up some of the things that made him Aiza and changing certain ways he lived his life. Secondly, he often said that what Ozo represented today was no longer what it used to be, because many people had turned it into something he did not agree with.

He simply wanted to be himself.
He wanted to live peacefully.
He wanted to stand by the truth.

And yet, this tragedy came.

Everything changed when I demolished my father’s old house and began rebuilding it from scratch.

I did it with one simple intention: I wanted my parents to live in a beautiful home while they were still alive — not for me to wait until they were gone before spending a fortune trying to give them a befitting burial.

But I had even bigger plans.

I wanted to finish that house, paint it black exactly the way it was when my father first built it, open the doors, and personally hand the keys back to him.

I wanted to see the look on his face.

I wanted him to walk into that house again and feel that same pride he felt when he first built it.

And that wasn’t all.

I wanted to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary in a very special way. I had planned to have a 911 lorry fully decorated, just like it was decorated when my father wedded my mother, and use it to recreate that beautiful memory for them.

I wanted to give my parents memories they could enjoy while they were still alive.

I never imagined that the house I was rebuilding for my father would become part of the story of his death.

But the enemy had other plans.

My father, a peaceful and innocent man, was murdered in cold blood.

Today, some people are trying to connect his death to land and on going cult-related issues. But my father was not a man who involved himself in land disputes or the things few people are now trying to associate with him. He wanted nothing more than to live his simple life, play his music, help people, speak the truth, and enjoy his remaining years.

He did not deserve this.

I have cried.
I have cried until I had no more tears left.
For the first time in my life, I have experienced a pain so deep that even my tears have dried up.

And as my tears have dried up, so has the blood of my innocent father been spilled.

May every person responsible one way or another, May everyone who participated, supported, encouraged, or motivated this evil act be brought to his end..

My father was a peaceful man, but his death will not be forgotten.🕯🕯🕯

Dad, I am sorry I could not protect you.😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

I only wanted you and Mum to enjoy the new home I was building for you while you were still alive. I wanted to hand those keys back to you myself. I wanted to celebrate your love story with Mum. I wanted to see both of you happy.

I never knew I was racing against time.

You left before I could finish what I started for you. Chai Obi agbwagom 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Dad, you were loved.
You were respected.
You were a father to more people than those who called you “Dad.”

Your kindness will not be forgotten.
Your sacrifices will not be forgotten.
Your music will not be forgotten.
Your voice will not be forgotten.
And your death will not be forgotten.

Rest peacefully Nna mụ, AIZA NWOSU.

Daddyym😭😭😭😭💔💔May God receive your soul and grant you eternal rest.

😭😭😭💔💔💔

AIZA NWOSU — FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS”

This is painful. May Aiza’s soul rest in peace, Amen. Dr. Uche Nworah
