The All Progressives Grand Alliance has said those awaiting to see a strained relationship between the outgoing governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and the governor-elect, Prof Chukwuma Soludo will be disappointed.
National Co-ordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, stated this on Monday at a press conference.
He said,”Disappointment awaits those that are wishing Soludo and Governor Obiano relationship to be strained beyond redemption.
“The reason is because Soludo that is the God ordained successor of Governor Obiano is determined to protect their relationship from being strained by agents of discord.
” I will not talk about how he is doing that and the steps he is taking to ensure that both him and Governor Obiano will remain best of friends even after Obiano’s tenure.
He said the people of Anambra State were blessed to have Soludo as Governor Obiano’s successor.
Assuring that Soludo would definitely do his best to meet the high expectation of the people, Obigwe said the choice of Soludo as Governor Obiano’s successor was the best choice.
He added,” Nothing on earth is as sweet as having a man whose words are his bond in a sensitive position like the office of the Governor.
He described Soludo as a personality with character, who would not be brainwashed, as well an open-minded human being that would not shy away from stating his mind you his mind on issues.
Obigwe added,” One thing I know and that Soludo is telling whomever that cares to listen is that he remains eternally grateful to Governor Obiano for being a man of his words with regards to Obiano’s fulfillment of a five years old promise.
“Another selling point of Soludo is that he is tolerant and his mind is focused on his set goals.
“The thoughts on Soludo mind for now is how to justify the confidence reposed on him by Anambra electorates.
“As his handover is fast approaching, Soludo has concluded arrangements to do something remarkable on 18th March 2022, a day after his handover.
“He will be commencing work from Okpoko that is in Ogbaru LGA and Ogbaru is in Anambra north, a Senatorial district that will handover power to him.
“When Soludo made a promise to start work from Okpoko after taking over from Governor Obiano, this calculation did not cross his mind but that is the reality on ground and its a good omen for the people of Anambra north.
OBIGWE CONTINUES:
Soludo has plans to deliver dividends of good governance in all the nook and crannies of Anambra State.
It is said that experience is the best teacher and I must confess that Soludo is well experienced and that his experience will be of a great help to ndi Anambra.
He will deploy his many years of experience in the governance of Anambra for the development of our beloved State.
As at today, nobody knows what Soludo has in mind but many will not shy away from telling you that they are confident that he will do very well in office as Governor.
Nothing gives me joy like knowing that Soludo is genuinely committed to protecting his relationship with Governor Obiano and he is already doing that.
The only thing I will plead ndi Anambra to do for Soludo is to support him to succeed in office for our own good and for the transformation of our beloved State into a State we can be proud of.
He has the strong will to take tough decisions that will transform our State and we need to support the implementation of that tough decisions.
During the electioneering campaign, I always refer to Soludo as the proverbial breadfruit whose time has come to fall.
To God be the glory that my prophecy was fulfilled on November 6th 2021 with Soludo election as Governor Obiano’s successor.
Let’s support Soludo genuinely in the morning, in the afternoon, in the night, in his front and at his back because doing that is for our own good and it’s also for the betterment of our beloved State.
