Anambra-China relationship deepens as 4 benefit from foreign aid training programme

The relationship between Anambra State and China has reached a new high with four individuals from the state benefiting from a foreign aid training programme in China.

According to Dr. Nelson Omenugha, Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, the successful facilitation and participation of the four individuals in the fully-funded Chinese foreign aid training programme is a testament to the cordial relationship between the state and China.

The beneficiaries include Muogbo Uju Sussan, Nwagbo Comfort Chinenye, Uduogu Augustine Okechukwu, and Ude Arinze Francis. Muogbo Uju Sussan and Nwagbo Comfort Chinenye are currently participating in the Seminar on Cultivation Techniques of Edible Fungi for Women in the “Belt and Road” Countries, sponsored by Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.

This development is expected to further strengthen the ties between Anambra State and China, and create new opportunities for cooperation and exchange in various fields.

Omenugha’s statement read in part, “We are excited to announce the successful facilitation, acceptance, and participation of our people in the fully-funded Chinese foreign aid training programme holding in China.

“Beneficiaries are Muogbo Uju Sussan, Nwagbo Comfort Chinenye, Uduogu Augustine Okechukwu, and Ude Arinze Francis.

“Muogbo Uju Sussan and Nwagbo Comfort Chinenye are sponsored to participate in the Seminar on Cultivation Techniques of Edible Fungi for Women in the “the Belt and Road” Countries by Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.

“The seminar would be unpacking Juncao medicinal fungi spawn production; introduction of medicinal fungi spawn production process, spawn quality identification and preservation methods, etc.

“On the other hand, Uduogu Augustine Okechukwu and Ude Arinze Francis would be participating in the Seminar on Food System Transformation Under the Global Development Initiative by Henan University of Technology, the organizing unit of the Ministry of Commerce’s foreign aid training program, and also the only organizing unit of the national foreign aid training program in Henan Province.

“Among others, the programme promises to interrogate the transformation of Agricultural Food System and Rural Revitalization.

“We wish them safest travels to China and hopeful that their participation at the seminar would provide enriching worldviews and experiences that would be shared with some of our young people in agriculture, upon their return.

“Many thanks to our dear Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, who is intentionally creating prosperity and placing the State on the global map with his remarkable interventions in critical physical and human capital infrastructures.

“We appreciate the generous interventions of the Chinese government through aid training programme; towards upskilling and partnering with our people and government for shared prosperity.”
