A former chairman of Igbo apex ruling body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra State chapter, Elder Chris Eluemuno, and the Labour Party, LP lawmaker representing Onitsha South 11, in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Umennajiego, Wednesday, described the sack and subsequent appointment of Service Chiefs by President Bola Tinubu, as mere window dressing adding that LP would reclaim its stolen mandate.

According to Chief Eluemuno, LP presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, would reclaim his mandate allegedly stolen by All Progressive Congress, APC, through the Presidential Election Tribunal.

His words, “The matter is still ongoing in the court. You can not reward illegality with legality. These things are mere window dressing. Former Anambra State Governor, Senator Chris Ngige, is a good example of a performing Executive and the court still removed him.

“In the eyes of the law Tinubu is doing nothing until the matter is finally resolved. Peter Obi is coming, no sentiments in law. I would have been happy with Tinubu if he had the mandate of the people. He has indeed started well but do not be swayed by that,” he advised Nigerians.

Also in his reaction, the LP lawmaker, Umennajiego, stated that, “It is a stolen mandate/stolen agenda, a thief can not be better than original owner.

“LP has come to offer hope, succour, provide a new Nigeria and a new way of doing things. That is why the people queued in the LP. That is why we are in the court to reclaim our mandate,” he further explained.end.
