The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze says the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese,His Eminence,Peter Cardinal Okpaleke has proved himself a true man of God in view of the exploits he has made in his religious duties.

Peter Cardinal Okpaleke on his 61st birthday,on behalf of the State Legislature,Rt.Hon.Udeze noted that his early elevation to the rank of Cardinal demonstrated God’s purpose to use him in propagating the gospel.
The Speaker commended Cardinal Okpaleke for the rapid transformation going on in his young diocese of Ekwulobia as well as the spiritual growth of the members of the diocese, stressing that Cardinal Okpaleke has contributed towards the peace and progress of the State through various religious measures.
He prayed God to increase His unction and grace upon Cardinal Okpaleke to enable him continue to shepherd effectively the congregation of the Ekwulobia Catholic Diocese under his watch.
Rt.Hon.Udeze enjoined members of the diocese to join hands with Cardinal Okpaleke in advancing the church of God in Ekwulobia Catholic Diocese
