A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, has described the Anambra State governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, as a transformation agent.
Obigwe who is the National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, stated this in a birthday message to the governor who clocked 63 years.
The APGA chief said Soludo had justified the confidence reposed in him by Anambra electorate.
Obigwe’s birthday message read partly, “As Governor Soludo adds plus 1 to his age today, I join millions of his well wishers to celebrate him in a special way.
“No doubting the fact that Governor Soludo has used his ongoing transformation of our state to prove that he is a blessing to Ndi Anambra.
He is truly taking Anambra to an enviable height.
“Nothing matters to Governor Soludo more than the delivery of dividends of good governance to the electorate because of his belief that he was employed by them for that purpose.
“We are currently seeing the fulfilment of his campaign promises in all sectors of governance in our State.
“We all know the state of insecurity in our state when Governor Soludo took over the mantle of leadership.
“Before anybody can sincerely assess Governor Soludo administration performance, the person must do a flashback to remember the situation of things in the past and put into consideration the present situation of things in the state.
OBIGWE STATES FURTHER:
If this is done, the person will definitely arrive at the conclusion that Governor Soludo is doing well and that he is on the right track.
His approach in bringing to an end the atrocities of unknown gunmen in our State is commendable.
As at the time he took office, unknown gunmen were acting as if they are spirits.
But Governor Soludo used his decisive action against them to prove that they are mere heartless criminals masquerading to be unknown gunmen.
That singular commendable action endeared Governor Soludo to ndi Anambra.
Although before his emergence as Governor, it’s obvious that people has high expectations of him because of his antecedents.
He also knows very well that his antecedents made people to have high expectations of him.
Many people use to tell me that their expectation on Governor Soludo is for him to use Anambra to set an example of good governance in Nigeria and Africa at large.
When ndi Anambra see that he is meeting up their expectations, it gives them joy.
Governor Soludo has turned around Anambra education sector for good.
As at today, Anambra is taking first position in national exams and other competitions courtesy of Governor Soludo administration transformation of our education sector.
The Agricultural sector is being transformed in such a way that our State will obviously become the highest exporter of palm oil in Nigeria.
The good thing about Governor Soludo is that he is projecting our State to come first in anything the State is doing.
With the way Governor Soludo is moving , he will obviously surpass the achievements of his predecessors in his first term.
Ndi Anambra truly made a wise choice by giving him their mandate to govern them.
Governor Soludo infrastructural renewal of Anambra State is second to none.
His road projects are topnotch because they are constructed with 30 to 25years lifespan guarantee and it has walkways.
Since the history of Anambra State creation, no Governor introduced the construction of walkways on our roads except Governor Soludo and that has shown that he prioritise the safety of life more than anything.
Another thing Governor Soludo did is spreading his road projects across the 21 LGA of Anambra State.
He cannot be accused of developing only his local government or his Senatorial district.
Our Youths are not left out in what Governor Soludo is doing because he is empowering them with skills acquisition.
All sectors of governance are feeling
the impact of Governor Soludo midas touch and ndi Anambra are happy for that because it’s a promise made and promise fulfilled.
For me, today is a special day because it’s a day our God given blessing added plus one to his age.
I pray that the almighty God will bless him with more years, wisdom and prosperity for him to continue touching lives positively in Anambra, Nigeria and the World at large.
Once again, Happy birthday to a game changer and an uncommon transformer that is on a mission of taking ndi Anambra to their envisaged promised land.
