In a scathing rebuke, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has branded Owelle Mbaso an “unrepentant mercenary” following his recent comments.
The National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, issued a statement urging party members to shun Mbaso, labeling him a self-serving opportunist.
Obigwe’s remarks came in response to a statement attributed to Mbaso, titled “Ojukwu: APGA can’t deceive us again, Ifeanyi Ubah is people’s choice.”
APGA viewed Mbaso’s comments as a blatant attempt to promote his personal interests and undermine the party’s unity.
According to Obigwe, Mbaso’s actions exemplify the highest level of selfishness, as he consistently seeks to advance his own agenda at the expense of others.
“Mbaso would always make noise for his bread to be buttered, and that is taking selfishness to the highest level,” Obigwe declared.
In his statement, Obigwe commended Mbaso for inadvertently exposing his true intentions, stating, “I like that the above-referred news report shows Owelle Mbaso unmasking himself as an unrepentant mercenary.”
Obigwe urged APGA members to be cautious of Mbaso’s motives and to reject his divisive rhetoric.
Mbaso’s comments have sparked controversy within the party, with many members expressing outrage and disappointment. APGA’s swift response demonstrates its dedication to upholding the values of integrity and unity.
In the words of Obigwe, “I will not mince words to tell the world that Owelle Mbaso is an unrepentant mercenary, and he should be treated as such.”
