Bus Driver Gives Soludo Cash Gift to Appreciate his Works in Anambra

A bus driver, Mr Uchechukwu Dike has presented a cash gift of about N50,000 to Anambra State governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

The driver said the money is to appreciate the governor for his massive infrastructural projects in the state within 24 months.

The drama happened in Onitsha where the governor had gone to inspect some ongoing projects, when the driver tried to approach the governor, but was stopped by security operatives.

He however had his chance, where he presented the cash to the governor. He said he was happy that despite the massive infrastructure being put in place by the governor, he was yet to borrow any money from anywhere since he came onboard.

Soludo will be making his second anniversary as governor on Sunday, 17th March. He has been greatly applauded for his infrastructure in the state.

The governor who appreciated the gift said: “They say nobody rejects money, and I will not reject this one. I deeply appreciate this gesture, but I will rather say that this money will multiply in million folds for you.”

The governor blessed the money and handed it back to the driver who was being hailed by his colleagues.
