Catholic priest Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obinma, popularly known as EbubeMuonso, has thrown his weight behind Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu’s governorship bid against incumbent Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo in the November 8 election.

Notably, EbubeMuonso had previously described Soludo’s mindset as “reprobate.”

During a meeting with Ukachukwu at his Tansi Parish in Umudioka, EbubeMuonso expressed confidence that Anambra would be in good hands with Ukachukwu as governor.

He stated, “Ukachukwu represents God’s offer of comfort and hope in difficult times to Anambra under a leadership that cares less about safety and welfare of the citizenry.”

EbubeMuonso, Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, further emphasized that “God does not abandon his people in unending agony” and that “in times of challenge, God will provide a way out.”

In response, Ukachukwu outlined his goals for the state, saying, “I’m running for the election to bring visible development, restore security, and introduce clusters of wealth creation to end poverty and hunger in the land.”

He praised EbubeMuonso, saying, “God inhabits in those he called. Fr. Obinma is a man from God.”

The event also featured an endorsement from the umbrella body of former Councillors who served in the 326 political wards across Anambra State.

They pledged to mobilize their colleagues to support Ukachukwu’s candidacy and ensure his victory in the November 8 poll.
