The former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and his family have commiserated with former commissioner for Works in the state, Engr Marcel Ifejiofor over the passing of his wife, Adaobi.
Ifejiofor who worked under Obiano during his time as governor lost his wife to death on Saturday morning.
Obiano in a press release by his Chief Publicist, Mr Tony Nezianya quoted Obiano as praising the virtues of his former aide’s late wife.
He said: “We mourn her demise because she was was a virtuous woman who lived for her family.
”She was a simple woman who valued education and worked hard to achieve a Ph.D. An easy-going person, who never allows materialism to define her.
”My wife, Osodieme and I will miss her wise counsel that we enjoyed during our days at the helm at the Anambra State House,” Obiano said.
