Five persons slump as crisis mars Soludo’s Doctors, teachers, Nurses exams

No fewer than five persons including mothers slumped friday in Awka, Anambra state, while struggling to take the computer based examination for jobs .

The computer based examination, introduced by Governor Chukwuma Soludo for employment of Medical doctors, Nurses and teachers took place at the popular IDK house along Enugu-Onitsha expressway.

The examination was marred by crisis as the time schedule for the different applicants was not followed as planned

The Razor, gathered that the applicants for the three categories of jobs were over 16,000

The crowd overwhelmed the staff of the examination centre who locked the gate to curtail the surge.

According to some of the applicants who to The Razor on condition of anonymity, said some applicants left the venue in anger without per taking in the exams again.

One of them who gave her name as Esther, said ” this is not how to organize exams. Emerging some people did not participate again because it is not organized

“They gave me 10am, others 1pm and doctors 3pm, but when it was my time to enter, the doctors invaded the place, forced their way in and took the exams.

“It was for teachers, Medical Doctors, Midwives and Nurses. The whole place was rowdy.And the time given to us was not enough

“It was during the stampede that some people fainted and were taking to hospitals” the 38 year old lady said
