Agulu Lake FC, academy register in Nig, South Africa, need N100m

Agulu Lake Football Club and the International Academy registered both in Nigeria and South Africa are waxing strong.

The founder of the outfits, Mr Michael Eduputa,( Ekposaa Nze) disclosed this in a statement made available to our correspondent.

He said,”This Agulu Lake Football Club and the International Academy were registered both in Nigeria and in South Africa in Conjunction with Edumiky Soccer Links International PTY LTD, CAF and FIFA license Agent, Recognized by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)”

Eduputa, a native of Umunnowu village Agulu, Anaocha L.G.A , Anambra State, was an ex-footballer and now a professional coach with basic certificate in coaching obtained from Professional Institute for Sports License, Soccer Training Course with the Edu-kick Manchester England in Johannesburg.

Appreciating the support of Ndi Agulu over the project, Eduputa said, “On behalf of Agulu Lake International Football Academy, I wish to use this opportunity to appreciate the amiable and commendable charity support you have been rendering to our community.

“It has been a great impact to the well-being of our town and I want to say that the good Lord will continue to bless and enlarge your coast.

The ex-footballer added,”May I inform you officially that our town has a Football Club and Youth Academy team which you may have heard of the Name “AGULU LAKE INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL ACADEMY AND AGULU LAKE FOOTBALL CLUB OF NIGERIA” This Agulu Lake Football Club and the International Academy were registered both in Nigeria and in South Africa in Conjunction with Edumiky Soccer Links International PTY LTD, CAF and FIFA license Agent, Recognized by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)

“These Club and Youth Academy were born out of the great desire to see our youths developed to become people of great values, empowered to bring light of greatness to our community through sports.

Eduputa enjoined neighbouring towns to Agulu, and the people of Anambra State in general to enroll their children in the academy.

He added, ” Likewise other neighbouring towns and different areas of Anambra State that will bring their kids for registration. It will help our youths to have focus on their studies and self-development in becoming valuable assets to our community and the world at large.

“It will take them out of social ills, peer pressure and from being a nuisance to the society.

He said,”This project will help us to raise and train our youths to the point that they will grow to compete with other youths globally.

“The 20 Villages in Agulu will have two players each to make up 40 players in total that will be admitted into the Academy for a start without payment.

“Having Agulu Lake football organization will bring a lot of interesting things to our community such as companies sponsorships, MTN, Airtel and GLO activities aswell as the Nigeria Football Federation, Anambra Sports Council and Anaocha LGA Sports council recognition, AGULU LAKE FC will be participating in the Anambra State Challenge Cup annually.

“The Academy will also be open to players outside Agulu community who wish to enroll into it.
Stating the achievements of the club and academy, Eduputa said,”The club and the academy have been duly registered in Nigeria and internationally in South Africa in Pmpartnership with L. VIMBELAS PTY Ltd. The Club has been formed in Nigeria and has been very active in Onitsha. Agulu Lake F C team has won a trophy in Onitsha in 2019.

“Also registered for the Anambra State Challenge Cup which did not hold due to the 2020/21 COVID 19 lockdown?

“We participated in Chief Tochukwu Ezisi -Akuyienwata cup during Christmas period. Already we have secured two plots of Land at Umunnowu village close to St John’s Catholic Church Agulu for a Ten bed room Boys’ quarter camp.

EDUPUTA’S STATEMENT CONTINUES:

PROPOSED PROJECT FOR A START
We are looking forward to acquire the following
a) Ten bedroom boys Quarter Camp with good amenities for camping.
b) A Bus for the effective running of the Academy and FC
c) Fencing of the Academy home training ground with wire net
d) Solid Solar flood lights around the Camp.

In the light of the above stated proposals, we want to appeal to the generous heart of the prominent men and women of our community to help in whatever capacity possible to facilitate this project for the benefit and development of our community and writing ourname (AGULU) on the sand of history in the global stage.

This is a legacy we can leave for our children and the up-coming generations.
Our proposed budget for the start of this project is One Hundred Million Naira only
(NIOO, OOO,OOO.OO).
