The immediate past Acting Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Barrister Juliet Mbonu-Ike, has formally handed over the leadership of the establishment to its new substantive Managing Director, Mr. Chris Molokwu, following his reappointment by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
During the handover to Mr. Molokwu, Barrister Mbonu-Ike disclosed that she had piloted the affairs of ABS as Acting Managing Director for the past four months, and wished him success.
Speaking to the ABS crew after the formal handover ceremony, Mr. Molokwu expressed gratitude to Anambra State Governor, Professor Soludo, for recognizing the positive changes he made in the outfit in the last sixteen months he piloted the affairs of the station by reappointing him.
The new ABS Managing Director promised to steer the establishment to global digital quality and introduce new concepts that will place ABS above other stations in Anambra and beyond.
He also promised to work with the ABS management team and staff to realize his vision for the establishment.
