Wife of the governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo has celebrated nurses to mark this year’s World Nurses Day.
She described nurses as the unseen hands behind every patients’ recovery.
In a post she made to celebrate them, she said: “Today, we celebrate the unsung heroes whose compassion and dignity speak louder than words — our nurses.
“Behind every recovering patient is a dedicated nurse who stayed awake through the night, offered reassurance in moments of fear and anxiety, and gave care with patience, strength, and love.
“Their service goes beyond medicine; they bring hope, comfort, and humanity to healthcare and our society.
“On this International Nurses Day, I honour the dedication, sacrifice, and resilience of nurses in Anambra State and beyond. Your commitment continues to save lives, strengthen families, and uphold the dignity of our communities every single day.
“Thank you for all you do. The world is healthier, kinder, and safer because of you. Happy International Nurses Day!” She said.
