His Majesty, Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, CFR, mni, Obi of Onitsha, Agbogidi has announced the appointment of two new members of his cabinet.
They are Onwa Okechukwu Akpom, of Omozele kindred group in Umuezearoli
Quarters and Ojinnaka Molokwu Azikiwe who hails from Inosi Onira kindred group in Ogbeabo quarters.
A press release by his Chief of Staff, Chief Osita Anionwu, Ike Akatakwuani stated that Onwa Akpom who is attorney at law was until recently based in the United States of America, while Ojinnaka Azikiwe, a finance professional with wide experience in the public sector, currently serves as Director of Budget & Treasury, in The ECOWAS Commission.
Anionwu said details of the investitures of the appointees will be provided in due
course.
The two new appointees are expected to join the monarch in the administration of the affairs of the kingdom.
