The honorable Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Hon Ify Obinabo has assured of partnership with Nollywood stars on ways to promote women and girls through the movie industry.
This she revealed in her office in Awka during an interface with the movie stars.
Speaking with Veteran Ngozi Ezeonu and Ebere Okaro-Onyiuke, Hon Obinabo assured them of her readiness in partnering the movie industry where plights of women and children would be thoroughly projected thereby sensitizing the world on the rights of women and children.
Earlier, while speaking, the screen goddesses explained that their purpose of visit is to collaborate with the Women and Social Welfare Ministry in enlightening members of the public and the world by extension, laws protecting women through their profession.
