The Vice President of the apex Igbo Socio Cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ichie Damian Okeke -Ogene, says the Presidential ambition of Mr Peter Obi will be like tsunami in 2023.

He expressed dissatisfaction over the Muslim -Muslim ticket employed by the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress APC

Speaking with THE RAZOR NEWS Thursday in Awka, Anambra State, Okeke -Ogene, assured that Ohanaeze Ndigbo would give Obi the necessary support and encouragement to actualize his aspiration and change the narrative in the country.

He therefore, appealed to the new Nigeria movement in support of Obi and the Labour Party LP to disregard and ignore self centered individuals in the Southeast, who according to him, were speaking from both sides of their mouths.

He said youth of Nigeria were out and determined to take ownership of the country from the old order.

Okeke -Ogene, maintained that votes must count in 2023 elections and no longer business as usual, which according to him, would birth a new Nigeria.

He reminded Nigerians that the Labour Party LP, Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, represented the face of new Nigeria without any any ethnic coloration.

The Ohanaeze leader, noted that Obi’s emergence had engendered a tsunami like movement across the country, made up of Nigerians from all ethnic groups in the country.

He made it clear that any attempt by one religion to dominate the political structure could only widen the gap of mistrust and destroy the delicate sense of tolerance cultivated over the years.
