Ogene saves Ogbaru School from trouble, pays NECO fees for students

The member representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency, Chief Victor Afam Ogene, has saved Ogbaru High School from trouble.

Our correspondent learnt that Ogene, who is Chairman House Committee on Renewable Energy, has yielded to the distress call made by the Principal of the school,Dr. Mrs Joy Bosah, about some students who were interested to register for NECO,2024 exams , but could not do so due to lack of funds.

The situation, it was gathered would have attracted a stringent penalty of closing the school as NECO examination centre.

“The situation, would take hard and bottleneck bureaucracy to revalidate”, a source told our correspondent.

Çontinuing, the source said,”Hon. Ogene, officially received the letter from the above mentioned school on the 17th of January,2024 and immediately swang into action by swiftly responding to this need which has saved the school from being penalized and equally offered the students the chances to participate in NECO examination for 2024.”

Responding to the distress call, Ogene said, “As a representative,who priotises the interest, well being and inclusion of all in the development of Ogbaru, my office would not allow Ogbaru to be disadvantaged or suffer regressin any way,under my watch.

“This, I’m glad to communicate the willingness of my office to pay the 2024 NECO fees for the affected 18 indigent students in your school,as requested”.

Reacting to the development, a respondent said,” Indeed, Ndi Ogbaru will witness going forward, pragmatic, effective, proactive and quality leadership embedded with people’s oriented programmes that will engender human capital development at all levels.

“Indeed, Ogbaru is in safe hands and will smile again.Ogbaru…. Anyi Bu Ofu.”
