In a bold declaration, Owelle Mbaso, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that the party is set to take over the governance of Anambra State in 2025.

According to Mbaso, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has lost its way and is desperately clinging to the legacy of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, without upholding his values.

Mbaso drew parallels with the situation in Abia State, where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was ousted by the Labour Party( LP) in the last election.

He noted that despite efforts to suppress Dr. Alex Otti, the masses rallied behind him, and Abia State is now thriving under the new administration.

In a scathing critique, Mbaso accused the APGA leadership in Anambra State of deceiving the people by claiming to uphold Ojukwu’s legacy while actually working against his ideals.

He pointed out that the Soludo administration has consistently disparaged Ojukwu’s name and removed his image from party materials.

He warned against being deceived by APGA’s tactics and assured that Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah will lead the APC to victory in 2025, ushering in a brighter future for the state.

Mbaso declared that the masses have rejected APGA’s deception and are ready to embrace the APC, which he believes will bring positive change to Anambra State.
