Foremost industrialist and oil merchant, Prince Arthur Eze has called on Anambra people to support the governor-elect, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
Eze in a press release by his media adviser, Prince Oliver Okpala also congratulated the former Central Bank Governor on his victory, saying all eyes will be on him, when he takes the seat of power in March 2022.
Eze said: “I congratulate Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his emergence as Governor-elect of Anambra State.
“I express joy at the outcome of the election which is the perfect realisation of a people’s longstanding wish and desire.”
Eze described Professor Soludo as a world class economic colossus and technocrat whose earlier presence in government remains indelible, and expressed confidence in his ability to reposition Anambra State and make it work for the people.
“I urged the people of the state to rally round Prof. Soludo to revamp the ailing sectors of Anambra, and I pray for uncanny wisdom and grace on him, to steer the affairs of the state,” Eze said.
Eze, a financier of most politicians in Anambra State, was formally a supporter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), before he fell apart with the state governor, Chief Willie Obiano.
