Rights activist raises alarm over threat to life by Amudo youths

An Anambra State based Human Rights Activist, Comrade Osita Obi has raised the alarm over threat to his life and that of his family members by unknown person.

Obi who is the Convener of Recover Nigeria Project and coordinator of Anambra Keke Drivers Forum AKDF stated that an unknown person with a strange number, 07077660844 has been calling and threatening to kill him and his family members if he does not remove his hands from Aroma, and Eke Awka Keke Parks.

According to Obi, the strange caller claimed he was calling on behalf Amudo youths, Awka.

He said that he is worried by the threat given the several unresolved killings in Awka of recent.

The human rights crusader said that he had reported the matter to Director of Department of State Services (DSS) and the State Commissioner of Police for necessary actions.

He said that anything that happens to him, Amudo youths community in Awka should be held responsible.
According to comrade Obi ,he is only fighting for a just society and to see that human lives are secured.

He also noted that his purpose of coordinating Keke drivers in the state was to bring sanity and decency into the operation of Keke business in the state.
He also appealed to the state Governor Prof Charles Soludo to take serious action on the activities of these boys threatening and killing people in the state capital.

He said:”This number 07077660844 called me this evening and said he is calling on the behalf of Amudo youths. He said I should remove my hand in Aroma keke park eke Awka side. He warned that they know me, my wife and my two sons. I am worried about this threat giving the killings in Awka in recent time hence my report to you”
